Medical Disclaimer

Last updated: June 19, 2026

DermaPrime is not a medical device approved for diagnosis. The Service provides informational and educational analysis of skin imagery using artificial intelligence. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any other form of healthcare.

1. No doctor–patient relationship

Using the Service does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and DermaPrime, its researchers, or any clinician who may review imagery submitted through the optional clinician review feature, unless a separate written engagement is established with that clinician.

2. Always consult a qualified clinician

Any concern about a skin lesion, mole, or other condition should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional in person. Never delay seeking medical advice because of anything you read or see in the Service. If you suspect a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. Limitations of AI

Our models can be wrong. Performance varies with image quality, skin tone, lesion type, and many other factors. Results may include false positives (benign lesions flagged as suspicious) and false negatives (concerning lesions missed). Estimated melanoma depth is a probabilistic indicator, not a measurement.

4. Acceptance

You must accept this disclaimer before submitting images for analysis. The disclaimer is also shown alongside analysis results. By continuing, you confirm that you understand the limitations described above.
