Skin cancer is the most common cancer globally — and one of the most curable when caught early. Yet billions of people lack access to a dermatologist. We exist to close that gap.

Our story
The spark
Co-founder Prof. Joanna Jaworek-Korjakowska noticed that patients who travelled 4 hours for a melanoma check often had benign lesions wrongly suspected as melanoma, while those who waited too long sometimes had stage-IV disease due to missed diagnosis. The problem was not knowledge; it was access.
The prototype
A small team of dermatologists and deep-learning researchers trained the first dermoscopy classifier on the ISIC archive. The model reached 92% accuracy on held-out validation. It was promising, but not enough.
Depth prediction breakthrough
After two years of histopathology correlation work, the team cracked non-invasive Breslow depth prediction from a single dermoscopy image. A world first. Patent filed. Clinical validation protocol designed.
DermaPrime launches
The platform goes live with four clinical modules: classification, monitoring, depth prediction and explainable AI. Used by patients in 40+ countries and reviewed by an independent medical advisory board.

Associate Professor at AGH University of Science and Technology, Kraków. Director of the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence at AGH and Chair of the NASK-PIB Scientific Council. Habilitation (2019) in AI methods for early melanoma detection. TOP 500 Innovators alumna (Stanford University).
Dr. Dariusz Pruchnik
Co-founder
Responsible for business analysis, regulatory certification (CE-IVDR, ISO 13485) and product development. Drives the roadmap that turns clinical research into a certified medical-grade product.
Filip Noworolnik
Co-founder
Leads engineering, the patient app and the clinician dashboard. Owns the end-to-end imaging pipeline and translates clinical requirements into a calm, trustworthy user experience.
